Cities, where we love to live together.

Punkt is a non-profit organisation that helps communities, urban design professionals and municipalities to transform our cities into better places to live. Punkt listens, represents, inspires, learns, teaches, creates, connects, designs. Punkt provokes.

Punkt is your neighbour!

Our projects and services

Good relationships are the fertile soil that is needed for a good life in the city. This is why we support communities, lively neighbourhoods and cross-disciplinary (transcontextual) dialogue. How? here are some of our favourite recipes:

  • Good Market festival – is an incubator for local businesses and good ideas.
  • CTZN magazine – provides a look into the city-makers kitchen, shares recipes and connects local experts.
  • Strategic urban planning – we advise for future sustainable cities.
  • Participatory planning – we examine the needs of residents and the quality of the territory.
  • Lectures, workshops and consultations – we love to share with you our experiences and know-how.

All our projects are created in cooperation. Get involved and support our activities too.  Find out more about cooperation HERE.

Our story

Non-profit organisation Punkt was established in 2007 to promote research in the field of design, fine arts, architecture and urban planning. Initially we aimed to support cross-fertilisation between these disciplines for more creative solutions in urban development. Over the years we have gradually grown into an organisation that provides comprehensive and various services to support sustainable urban development in the following fields: community life and local economy, circular solutions and care for the environment, research and surveys on residents‘ needs in relation to new urban development and creation of strategies for more inclusive and sustainable cities.

Our team

Non-profit organisation Punkt is a group of experts in the field of architecture, urbanism, community life, urban strategies, strategic, territorial and participatory planning and other areas important for the creation of the city and community life in it.

At present led by  Barbara Zavarská, Illah van Oijen and Zuzana Mačurová. Learn more about our team HERE.
